Our Outer Harbor Ride

Ship Canal Commons Ship Canal Pkwy, Buffalo

Our fourteenth free and inclusive Monday night community bike ride of 2021 brings us to a new location – Ship Canal Commons on Buffalo's Outer Harbor, for a ride spotlighting the waterfront and Skyway named after the Our Outer Harbor Coalition, whose advocacy issues include to keeping public lands and waters public; protecting the environment and fragile habitats of the area, historic preservation, advocating for passive recreation; and creating on the ground policies that focus on climate resiliency. Our 10-mile roundtrip route with stops at Canalside and The Triangle will include neighborhoods Perry, First Ward and The Valley along major streets Fuhrmann, Ohio, Michigan, South Park and Tifft, returning to Ship Canal Commons for our Buffalocal afterparty with music, food, drinks, music and fellowship. Mutual Riverfront Park 41 Hamburg St, Buffalo

Limited Capacity! Join Slow Roll and Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper for a night of bicycling, kayaking and fellowship on the Buffalo River! The full experience includes a guided ride along the river, open kayaking with designated stops to learn about Waterkeeper's work to transform the once-dead river into a revitalized destination, and an afterparty with food and drinks. You can choose to only paddle, or only pedal, or both! Purchase of a ticket includes the ride/row, refreshments, afterparty, a commemorative "Ticket To Roll" T-Shirt and more. Choose to bring your own kayak or we'll provide one for you! All proceeds go to keeping Slow Roll Buffalo free for all. This ride is rated GEAR 1. It is appropriate for riders of all experience levels.

Harvest Roll

Niagara Frontier Food Terminal 1500 Clinton Street, Buffalo

DATE CHANGE TO SAT SEPT 25 Limited Capacity! The Harvest Roll will pick up where the annual Tour de Farms left off with a 35-mile guided ride exploring our urban food systems, followed by an afterparty with food, drink and fellowship. Purchase of a ticket includes the ride, refreshments, afterparty, a commemorative "Ticket To Roll" T-Shirt and an option for a local produce box from FreshFix. All proceeds go to keeping Slow Roll Buffalo free for all. This ride is rated GEAR 2. Longer mileage makes it appropriate for most riders, though beginners and children may have difficulty completing the ride.
