Our 21st of 26 free and inclusive Monday night community bike rides brings us for the first time to the historic Hamlin Park home of the Restore Our Community Coalition, which seeks to restore the Humboldt Parkway Community that has suffered from decades of decay and economic decline due to the construction of the Kensington Expressway.

This Monday’s 10-mile roundtrip route includes stops in Trinidad and North Park, including neighborhoods Hamlin Park, Parkside and Central Park along major streets Jefferson, Main, Kensington, Humboldt, Amherst and Colvin. Stops will feature speakers while Libby’s Lemonade Stand sells fresh-squeezed refreshments.

Buffalocal afterparty on Hedley Place will include fellowship; food from Imperial Pizza, Casa Azul and Fat Bob’s Smokehouse; drinks including Buffalocal brews, Chateau Buffalo wines, Snowy Owl Kombucha, Ashker’s and pop; and music from DJ Ces.
