10-mile roundtrip route with four inclines includes neighborhoods Park Meadow, Parkside, Hamlin Park, Kingsley, Fruit Belt, Masten Park, Cold Springs and Elmwood Village along major roads Elmwood, Amherst, Parkside, Humboldt, Best, Masten, Lafayette and Delaware. We’ll stop in Hamlin Park and the Fruit Belt, continuing the focus of our first three rides on neighborhoods affected by Buffalo’s “Freeways Without Futures” – Kensington and Scajaquada – as designated by the Congress for the New Urbanism and featured on GObike Buffalo’s sixth annual SkyRide, a fundraiser bike ride providing riders the opportunity to explore the past, present and future of Buffalo’s roadways through a ride highlighting our legacy highways.

Our two mass-up speakers will be Anthony Williams of FLARE – Fillmore Leroy Area Restidents – and India Walton of the Fruit Belt Community Land Trust.

We’ll return to the History Museum for an afterparty with fellowship, food trucks Ms. Judi’s, Totally Edible and Sweet Lisa’s; drinks from Big Ditch Brewing Company, Community Beer Works, Chateau Buffalo, Ashker’s and Snowy Owl Kombucha; and music from DJ LoPro.
