For Week 17 of 26 free and inclusive Monday night community bike rides, Slow Roll Buffalo has been invited by the Frederick Law Olmsted School & Martha Mitchell Community Center for our first ride hosted in the Kenfield neighborhood.

This coming Monday’s 10-mile roundtrip route includes neighborhoods Schiller, Grider, Leroy, Central Park and Kensington along major streets Eggert, East Delavan, Bailey, Kensington, Main and East Amherst, guided by our trained squad of more than 100 volunteers. Two “mass-up” stops allow for regrouping while community leaders inform riders of history, events and issues in the immediate area, with the African Heritage Food Co-op Kiddie Kickstand crew selling drinks and snacks for one dollar cash.

We’ll return to the Martha Mitchell Center for an outdoor afterparty with fellowship, food, drinks and music.
