Having prepared a plan that meets or exceeds all requirements, the weekly ride presented in partnership with Independent Health will resume on Monday, August 3rd, starting at 6:30pm from Babeville in downtown Buffalo (341 Delaware Avenue), free and open to all. Virtual Roll & Schedule Reveal Monday Night!

By |2020-05-03T18:37:25-04:00May 3rd, 2020|News|0 Comments

Greetings, friends, wishing everyone safety and solidarity. While the ongoing public health crisis is preventing us from presenting our free and inclusive community bike rides that draw crowds in the thousands, the start of our six-month season of Monday night gatherings will move online with a livestream Virtual Roll and Schedule Reveal this coming Monday, May 4th.  Starting at 6:30pm here at www.slowrollbuffalo.org as well as our YouTube and Facebook pages, we’ll present a live virtual 10-mile ride guided by hosts and a series of guests, who will share news and stories of how Buffalonians are responding to the crisis as well as announce plans for future Mondays in May. Only one Slow Roll squad member will be riding – a *Solo* Roll of sorts, with a camera mounted to their helmet – while hosts and guests will appear from home via teleconference. Upon conclusion of the ride, a virtual afterparty will feature live music and fellowship including performances by David Michael Miller, Sonny Baker, Michael Farrow and more, in partnership with Band Together Buffalo.  […]
