What is Slow Roll?

Slow Roll is one of the world’s largest free and inclusive community bike rides. Founded in 2014 and organized locally by non profit volunteers, Slow Roll Buffalo connects communities through guided rides for bicyclists of all ages and skill levels. More than just a bike ride, it is a vehicle to bring people from all walks of life together and reconnect our community. Our presenting partner, Independent Health, and many other generous community partners help to keep Slow Roll Buffalo free for all.

More About Slow Roll…

Slow Roll rides every Monday! Free and inclusive for all.

Wear a mask. Light your bicycle. Be prepared to ride upon arrival.

Slow Roll Code of Conduct

RESPECT for the community and SAFETY are paramount. If we cannot be respectful and safe, we can’t Slow Roll, simple as that. These basic rules will accomplish our goals and maintain a positive impression of not only Slow Roll, but of cycling as a whole. Make sure you’re following the Code of Conduct at all times and helping to educate new riders. You’ll have the full support of the SQUAD behind you, but it’s up to each of us to be responsible for ourselves and each other.

SQUAD Volunteers

99% Volunteer-run, 1000% Volunteer fun. Our squad family of volunteers is diverse, caring, and committed to keeping our rides safe and fun for everyone. And that squad commitment extends beyond the big public ride – we scout our routes beforehand, stopping to notify neighbors and ring registers of local businesses; we call City Hall to report road hazards and conduct cleanups along the way; and we answer the call when people in need seek our support.
