Happy Sunday and *Snow* Roll series finale day!

Our fourth and final monthly *Snow* Roll brings us to Roosevelt Playground on the East Side, at the foot of Martha and Roosevelt Avenues and behind the Charter School of Inquiry, where in partnership with Mayor Byron W. Brown’s Office of Citizen Services we help launch “Wintermission,” a project by Toronto-based 8 80 Cities to combat social isolation and increase levels of physical activity in winter for residents of all ages and backgrounds. Much more to come with Wintermission – read all about it here.

While the Wintermission party in the park happens from 1-4pm with free hot chocolate, fun and games, music and vendors, our free and inclusive ride starts at 3 with a 10-mile route including neighborhoods Kenfield, Kensington, University Heights, North Park, Central Park, Vernon Triangle and Leroy. All are welcome for the ride or just to gather in the park!

Before the ride, get a free winter scarf from the RedShirt team of our presenting partner, Independent Health.

Also, as is *Snow* Roll custom, we’re holding a donation drive for an organization especially in need this time of year – this time we’re supporting Community Access Services, which is in need of personal hygiene products especially feminine hygiene, and nonperishable food items.
