Happy Snow Roll eve, y’all! Our third of four monthly *Snow* Rolls brings us to Mass Ave Park on the West Side, across the street from Massachusetts Avenue Project, where in partnership with Mayor Byron W. Brown’s Office of Citizen Services we help launch “Wintermission,” a project by Toronto-based 8 80 Cities to combat social isolation and increase levels of physical activity in winter for residents of all ages and backgrounds. Much more to come with Wintermission – read all about it here.

Meet at noon, free and inclusive ride at 12:30 with a sweet route including the West Side, Lower West Side, Niagara Square up through Allentown and Elmwood Village before returning to the park for free hot chocolate, fun and games, music and vendors. All are welcome for the ride or just to gather in the park!

Before the ride, get a free winter “beanie” hat from the RedShirt team of our presenting partner, Independent Health.

Also, as is *Snow* Roll custom, we’re holding a donation drive for an organization especially in need this time of year – this time we’re supporting Friends of Night People, whose current greatest needs are deodorant, socks, underwear, and canned goods including coffee and hot chocolate.

Both and ride and donation drive are included in Campus Cycling Collective’s The Great Winter Get Out.

And thanks to our Wintermission partnership with Mayor Brown’s Office of Citizen Services, we’re adding a bonus Snow Roll and Winter Bash next Saturday, March 1st, more info to come next week, join us for both!
