Happy Monday, Slow Rollers, lovely day for our free and inclusive Queen City Jazz Fest Ride! Note that we have a change in host venue – tonight’s ride will be hosted by the Colored Musicians Club, 145 Broadway, 6:30pm sharp start, moved from the originally-scheduled Broadway Theatre due to construction on surrounding streets. Our friends from Broadway Theatre and Western New York Minority Media Professionals will still join us at the CMC!

Tonight’s 10-mile roundtrip route with two inclines includes stops near Linwood and the Lower West Side; neighborhoods on this route include Coppertown, Allentown, Bryant, downtown and Willert Park along major streets Michigan, Broadway, Franklin, Linwood, Delaware, Tupper and Oak.

The Kickstand Kids from the African Heritage Food Co-op will be back tonight at our mass-ups selling drinks and snacks for $1 each – please remember to have cash and exact change.

Buffalocal afterparty at the Colored Musicians Club will include fellowship, food from Imperial Pizza, Ms. Judi’s, Thai Me Up, Sweet Lisa’s and the Ice Cream Jerk; drinks from Big Ditch Brewing, Community Beer Works, Resurgence Brewing, Flying Bison Brewing, Chateau Buffalo, Ashker’s Juice Bar, Snowy Owl Kombucha and Libby’s Lemonade; and music from the George Scott Big Band.

One-time annual ride registration here online or onsite.

To those driving to our event – downtown Buffalo has an abundance of public parking. Be a good neighbor and respect surrounding residents by refraining from parking on residential streets.

All riders be sure to check your ABCs – Air-Brakes-Chain – and see our SAG crew (Support and Gear) for any pre-ride basic maintenance.

See below for the Slow Roll Code of Conduct and a pre-ride checklist, get on your bikes and join us!
