Happy Monday, Slow Rollers, perfect day our free and inclusive Unite to Do Right Ride! Tonight’s ride is named after the namesake of our host venue, the Frederick Douglass Community Center (234 Jefferson Avenue, 6:30pm sharp start).

“I would unite with anybody to do right and with nobody to do wrong.”

This Monday’s 10-mile roundtrip route includes stops in Willert Park and the Hydraulics; neighborhoods on this route include Emslie and downtown along major streets Clinton, Fillmore, William, Pearl and Sycamore.

Buffalocal afterparty at Frederick Douglass Community Center will include fellowship; food from Imperial Pizza, Thai Me Up, The Cheesy Chick and Sweet Lisa’s; drinks from Big Ditch Brewing, Community Beer Works, Flying Bison Brewing, Resurgence Brewing, Chateau Buffalo, The Blend, Ashker’s Juice Bar, Snowy Owl Kombucha & Libby’s Lemonade Stand; and music from DJ LoPro.

One-time annual ride registration here online or onsite.

To those driving to our event – there’s plenty of car parking a half-mile away on Exchange Street in the lots owned by the Larkin Development Group, which thankfully has granted permission for Slow Roll attendees to use tonight. Be a good neighbor and respect surrounding residents by refraining from parking on residential streets.

All riders be sure to check your ABCs – Air-Brakes-Chain – and see our SAG crew (Support and Gear) for any pre-ride basic maintenance.

See below for the Slow Roll Code of Conduct and a pre-ride checklist, get on your bikes and join us!
